We are always looking for new ways to reduce our impact on the planet and create a better harmony with the world around us. We are committed to reducing environmental impact throughout our supply chain and only use suppliers which have the necessary accreditation in place.

Oak the sustainable choice

Although we can supply other woods Oak is our first choice for sustainability. An investment for a lifetime it is intrinsically durable and becomes more beautiful with the passing of time. We also precision mill every floor to order, minimising material and energy waste.

We prefer to use European sourced oak which has the smallest carbon footprint and most of our floors come from mature trees at the end of their growth cycle. Oak is also carbon-neutral meaning that as it is growing it absorbs carbon dioxide and returns oxygen to the atmosphere
